I've long had an obsession with skulls and decay symbolism, throw in some immortality and a little royalty and you have my latest project.
Be it skinny or fat the tie is back, latest offering from reid.damnit. !MONOGRAMMED TIES! Choose from a selection of skull inspired insignias. Include your initials or leave it minimal. These are handmade either on black heavy linen satin or denim for that Canadian Tuxedo look or on vintage "label" ties I find in my daily trips to flea markets and outposts of yesteryear. Currently I have a small slew of Pierre Cardin to choose from.

If you've never been to a Rolling Stones concert, fear not, Juliette and The Licks are here to stalk and stomp for you. Dressed in tight red jeans, high stiletto boots, 'Brum Rock' cut off shirt and vest with jean jacket over top she owned the stage from the first to the last song. With the standard rock pursed lips and shaking of her long locks punctuated with her well known smile she was a ball of energy, who needs a cardio workout when you're Juliette Lewis. Amped up by the fans in the front row she gave us what I would consider an action packed performance, being the first show in Australia it will be interesting to see where her voice is by the end of her down-under tour. As her singing style is largely loud and throaty, my only complaint is that it was difficult to tell if she has a gifted voice, but what she lacked in range she made up for by sheer presence. Having never heard anything from The Licks I went out of curiousity as I'm sure most of her now fan base started out as. I probably should buy the latest offering (Four on the Floor) as persuaded by the svelte star to really 'hear' her.
Each song introduced with the story behind it gave some insight into the lyrics and my favourite being life beyond the movie set, and what balls it takes to drop what you know and follow what you love.
The overall inspiration I gleaned was to see more live music and the following day to buy gray leggings graphically printed with love, skulls, stars and slogans. Rock on Juliette, I hope five more years sees you touring still.
So, I recently made the move down south, that's Southern Hemisphere, not further down the Q Line. You'll be hearing more of what's happening in Melbourne Australia. Fads, foods, fashions, bars and stylin's.
